The Next Big Thing On Epic

Rusty named the band. I thought it was stupid, but I’m just the bass player so I went along. When we got the recording contract I floated the whole ‘can’t we change the name’ balloon, but Cameron and Forley had gotten used to it by now, their girlfriends had the tee shirts, we had a following, it was too late.

I swallowed my dissatisfaction.

But I believe in destiny. We were on our way to some bullshit meeting, you meet people, they gush, you forget their names. We broke down right under that sign. That fateful sign.

Hello, album cover.

    1. Thank you! :-) I may edit to make it a little clearer that the band is called "No Smoking". Not sure yet. I may live with it for a day and then decide.

  3. I can see this happening. Makes as much sense as many other group or album titles. :-) Patrick's right; it does look like an album cover and I think the idea of the band name is clear enough without being spelled out.

    1. Thank you :-) I think it actually reminds me of an album cover I have, I just don't know which one. I'd have to go through my collection and who has time for that? ;-)
